How do I know US Airways Vacations received my reservation?
Upon clicking the "Purchase Now!" button you will receive a screen with a vacation confirmation number indicating your booking was successful. You will also receive an immediate email with confirmation number, itinerary and travel instructions.
What is your baggage policy?
Read our baggage policies. You can pay for your 1st and 2nd checked bags when you check in online and save. There is a $5 service fee for checked bags at the airport. You can check in beginning 24 hours and up to 60 minutes before your departure. Also, all bag fees are per person and each way.

I was making a reservation when I lost my Internet connection. What now?
Unless you received a screen with a confirmation number at the end of a booking plus an email then your booking was not successful. You will need to start the booking process over to make your reservation.

Is there a minimum number of days in advance that I have to book a room?
The advance purchase requirement varies by hotel. Most hotels require a 7 day advance purchase; however, select properties are available with as little as a 2 day advance notice.

Are there any charges to change or cancel my reservation?
Depending on the circumstances of your change in travel plans, a fee may be assessed for any changes to a package after it has been booked. This fee is in addition to any difference in price of your new itinerary.

I discovered that I can't go on the vacation. Can someone take my place?
Under most circumstances, you can change the names on a vacation package up to 15 days prior to your travel. A fee may be imposed, however, to change the name on your ticket.

Will I receive travel documents?
US Airways Vacations packages are electronically ticketed and manifested, including all air reservations. Click here to access your itinerary online. You will only require a government issued photo ID such as a driver's license or passport to check-in for your flights and hotel. There are a few exceptions where you will need travel documents such as attraction tickets (theme park passes, city tours, etc.). Any travel documents you need for travel will be express delivered to the address you provided on the reservation at least 7-14 days prior to departure. Are there any different requirements for international travel?
When you are leaving the country, you will require proper proof of citizenship to return back to the United States. Please make sure you have a valid proof of citizenship with you, U.S. Passport or other appropriate travel documents. Your driver's license alone will not allow you to pass through customs. Please remember that you are required to check in at least 2-3 hours prior to your flight departure.
On January 23, 2007, new requirements for travelers to the islands of the Caribbean (except Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands), Bermuda, Mexico, Central and South America and Canada will take effect. Beginning January 22, 2007, all air and sea passengers will need a passport to enter or re-enter the United States. This requirement applies to all US citizens and includes children and infants.

Why did the hotel tell me they don't have a record of my reservation?
US Airways Vacations guarantees your reservation to the hotel 7 to 14 days prior to check-in. Each hotel varies as to when they wish us to send them the actual names of our guests.

What is a standard or ROH (Run-of-the House) room at a hotel?
When a hotel offers many different styles of room, a run-of-the-house room simply means that the hotel will guarantee that you receive a room offering certain standard features. Bedding types, views, and smoking / non-smoking are not usually part of the run-of-the-house description, and are upon request only. All requests not part of the run-of-the-house standard for that hotel cannot be guaranteed until your arrival at the hotel.

How do I make a reservation for more than two rooms?
To reserve more than two rooms and/or more than 4 adults you must make a separate booking. The credit card holder must match the name of the person the reservation was made under. If you wish to make a group booking (10 or more people) then please call our toll free number at 800-843-9971.

As a Dividend Miles member how can I get credit for my air travel?
You can just present your Dividend Miles number upon check in at the airport. Also, this can be done by accessing your Dividend Miles account online after your trip (within 6 months) and making the request or by calling US Airways at 800-428-4322.
